# Invite teammates and manage access

> Give teammates access to your project and choose what they can do.

You need **Owner** access for these steps. Teammates must already have a Cord account.

1. Open [**Projects**](https://app.cord.nyc/projects).
2. Open the project's **⋯** menu and select **Manage members**.
3. Enter your teammate's Cord email address and choose a role.
4. Select **Invite**. They appear in the members list.

## Choose a role

| Role           | Access                                                          |
| -------------- | --------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Owner**      | Edits project content and manages members and project settings. |
| **Editor**     | Edits project data, analysis, and apps.                         |
| **Viewer**     | Reviews project content and results.                            |
| **App viewer** | Uses only the published apps shared with them.                  |

For an **App viewer**, select the pencil icon in **App access** and choose the published apps they can open.

**Editors** can invite **App viewers** and choose their apps through **View members**.

## Change or remove access

In **Manage members**, use a teammate's role dropdown to change their role, or the trash icon to remove their access. Changes save immediately.
